30th Weekend Extravaganza!

In order to properly celebrate my 30th birthday, we planned a weekend getaway to the Seattle area to visit my dearest high school friends. We stayed with my best friend Kara and her husband Kacey. Kara was a wonderful host and even organized a wonderful Birthday BBQ and game night. We had a fabulous time!






Then on Sunday we went to the NW Trek. We enjoyed the Tram ride through the park:



We spotted lots of animals from the tram including deer with two fawns, caribou, elk, moose, bison, mountain goats, geese, ducks, swans and big horn sheep.

The highlights had to be the Caribou walking right next to the tram:

And the herd of Roosevelt Elk bulls lounging within a few feet from the tram:
Overall a perfect weekend to kick of my thirties! Thanks Girls!
