Saturday we got our Christmas Tree. We had another perfect fall/winter day for the northwest- cool, crisp, and sunny! (It is days like this that remind me why I love living here.) So we took advantage of the nice weather and went to a local tree farm,
picked the perfect tree,
stopped for a photo opportunity or two,
drank some apple cider and ate candy canes. Then, when we got home, I hung the lights on the tree (my first time to do that) and the boys decorated it.
Afterwards, we capped off our holiday themed day by watching
The Grinch together, while I worked on Christmas Cards. A very festive day indeed!
