Becca's another month older!

Four months! It is really mind boggling to think that Becca is already four months old. The time is flying by and she is getting so big. We have her four month appointment this week, so I will know exactly how big she is after that. It has been an eventful month. Here are some highlights of what Becca has accomplished:

Becca has found her thumb and is a regular thumb sucker. She is able to quickly sooth herself with it.
She has also discovered her feet and likes to grab hold and rock. So far, she hasn't gotten her toes into her mouth, but I am sure she will soon.

She has started to play with toys (which means grabbing at toys and shoving them into her mouth).

Becca has learned to roll over, see previous post for details. We are still working on rolling the other way.

Becca loves to stand up and can support her own weight, now to work on the balance piece.

She is also working on sitting. She can manage to balance for a few seconds at a time. It won't be long before she can sit completely on her own.

Some other things worth mentioning: Becca celebrated her first Thanksgiving (I am very thankful for her!). Her adorable cooing has changed to a not so adorable screeching. She is the loudest baby talker I know. It is very amusing. I am trying to capture it on video to post, stay tuned!
