More from Tennessee--

I already declared that the best part of Tennessee was Cara and Matt- but we did see a few other interesting sites. The highlight of our sight seeing was a beautiful Saturday drive to the Smokey Mountains and through Cades Cove. We saw deer, wild turkey, some old homesteads, and lots of old churches. Here are a couple pictures from our drive:

Cara also gave me a quick drive-by tour of downtown Knoxville, the University of Tennessee campus, and some fancy southern homes in Cara and Matt's favorite neighborhood. Overall, a good positive first impression of Knoxville.

I also was able to indulge in yummy southern food- which means Fried Chicken! Now, I am not a fried chicken fan, but I must admit, the south knows how to do fried chicken- YUMMY!

I enjoyed the southern hospitality, especially the accent. For some reason, everything just sounds sweeter with a southern drawl.

Thanks Cara and Matt! Becca and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Knoxville.
