Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend, we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. I look forward to going to the pumpking patch all year- it is always a great way to celebrate fall. This year was no exception.

Here are everyone's favorites from our day in pictures:

The Pumpkin Sling Shot! This was our first stop. We each got two tries to shoot pumpkins into barrels 50-100 feet away. This is always Mark's favorite part of the day. He prides himself that he has won most years. However, he must be losing his touch- this was the second year in a row that he hasn't won. Oh well, lots of fun!

Next a hayride out to the pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin. Corbin said finding his pumpkin was his favorite part of the day. He was very selective in picking a pumpkin.

The corn maze was my favorite part. We started out thinking we could navagate without using the map. We walked about 15 minutes only to find ourselves right back at the start. Then we attempted a second time- this time we closely followed the map and made it through easily.

Trent's favorite part was the animals. He loved the baby goats. We spent 20 minutes watching them. Corbin's favorite animal was the turkey.

Since Becca is too little to tell us about her favorite part of the day- I will just summarize her participation in the day: She pretty much slept through the whole day, AND then she forced us to cut our visit a little short by pooping all over herself and Mark. The picture of Mark and Becca was taken pre-blowout.
