A letter to Santa
Earlier this week, Corbin came to me almost in tears. He was very concerned that he hadn't told Santa what he wanted for Christmas, and he was running out of time. I tried to explain that Santa just knows what every child really desires, but he didn't buy it. He wanted to go visit Santa pronto! So that day, we made letters to Santa,

And then last night we braved the mall and the long line to visit the man in red. The kids were amazingly patient. They waited in the 30 minute line quietly staring in awe at Santa. When it was their turn, the boys showed Santa their letters and told them what they wanted. They learned that Santa gives high fives, exploding fist bumps and even elbows (I didn't know what elbows were, but he taught the boys). Afterwards, we treated the kids to Cinnabon's. Corbin was very happy and relieved to have visited Santa.
