After dragging my feet, I am finally ready to start posting about our trip to Alaska. I wanted to start by sharing one of the highlights for Mark and I. While in Juneau, my college roommate Katy, arranged for Mark and I to go on a whale watching tour with her Uncle's
whale watching company. And Katy and Jeff ambitiously watched all the kids, 6 in total under 7! We are so grateful to them. It was a once in a life time experience!

We saw as many as 19 humpback whales, including two different groups
bubble feeding, and a mother and calf playing. We raced two purpoises, and spotted a group of sea lions. It was incredible! One of the other passengers had a nice camera and took some great shots, which she shared with us. Here is a glimpse of what we experienced on the three hour whale watching tour:
