A backyard camp out!

It was a marvelous Memorial Day weekend. We had GORGEOUS weather, very uncommon for Memorial Day in the Portland area. And three GLORIOUS days to enjoy the nice weather and each other. Mark had wanted to go camping, but I had to work and we didn't want to fight the Memorial Day weekend camping crowds. So Mark settled on the next best thing- A backyard camp out.

Mark set up the tent and the boys (Mark, Corbin and Trent) slept out there all weekend, while the girls (Becca, Zoey, and I) slept in the nice warm house.


Although, we didn't all sleep out there, we did all spent time in the tent hanging out, reading books and playing games.

Sunday, we invited our friends James & Alicia over to hang out at our campsite and enjoy a nice BBQ. We played a competitive game of croquet (Corbin recently picked this croquet set out at a rummage sale):

And then played on the swing set:

It was Becca's first time in the swing- I'd say she liked it!
