Six Months!!

Today is Becca's half birthday! Our baby is already SIX months. Simply incredible! I still amazed how quickly the time is flying by. This week I put the co-sleeper crib in our room away and the baby bathtub. After I put the crib away, I turned to Mark and said it felt empty in our room. As soon as said it, I could feel the emptiness, not only in the room, but in my heart as well. I already miss having a newborn. But don't get me wrong, I LOVE the stage Becca is at now. Her personality is emerging and she interacts with everything in her environment. It is so wonderful to watch her grow and learn.

Here are some highlights from this month and all Becca is learning:
This is the best video I have gotten so far of Becca trying to crawl (its a little dark). She has figured out how to go forward inch by inch- sometimes by the method in the video, and sometimes with an army crawl.

Becca is now moved to taking baths in the big tub, and she loves it. I fill the tub with about an inch of water and let her play. She has discovered how to splash and I end up soaked. I lay her on her back at one end of the tub and she kicks and waves her arms until she "swims" to the other end.

Becca can sit on her own- she is still working on balancing.
